ABOUT JOHN CLARKE
Project Manager, Innovaderm Registered Kinesiologist, inactive MSc Clinical Exercise Physiology An effective and efficient manager of people and projects. The part of my job that makes me different is not my education. It is not what I view as the most important skills in my area of work: critical thinking or problem solving. It is the values of hard work and valuing people that has been instilled in me through my upbringing and experiences. Project management is about working with people to get their best work from them. It is about leadership, setting a example and valuing everyone and their contribution. As a leader, you must show people you care, give praise when deserved even for small things because they are important. Exceptional leaders are consistent in these applying those principles. That is what I pride myself in. I believe it is the biggest contributing factor to success when working in large teams, especially multidisciplinary ones.
