ABOUT JOHN CARROLL

John David Carroll, the youngest of two siblings, was born and raised in Branford, Connecticut. From a young age, John was clearly an extrovert, and displayed a great love of people and social interaction. Following high school, his passion for people and culture inspired John to want to see the world, which ultimately led to his decision to join the United States Air Force. Soon after, John found himself living in Korea where he served for one year and was fortunate enough to experience the 1988 Olympics. After serving in Korea, he was Transferred to Bergstrom Air Force Base. From the moment he first arrived in Austin, he was smitten, and knew immediately he had found his true home. After three more years of active duty, John\'s passion for people again led him to pursue a college degree/career in occupational therapy specializing in geriatrics, stroke rehabilitation, environmental adaptations and design. While his work in home adaptions was closely aligned with architecture and construction, Johns interest in Real Estate didn\'t really develop until when he purchased his third house.\"Third Time\'s a charm\", as they say, because this time he had the good fortune of working with a Realtor who shared extensive knowledge and really fostered and nurtured John\'s growing curiosity for the process/business of real estate. Even after John had acquired his home his interest did not subside, and he soon reached back out to his broker, this time to inform him that real estate was his calling. John is an incredibly dedicated agent who always goes the extra mile to make sure the needs and wants of his clients are met to the fullest degree. His prior work in Occupational Therapy has given him a rare sensitivity that makes him an invaluable asset to any team.
