Assigned to the Security Assistance Division - responsible for and will lead the people, internal platforms, policies, and procedures necessary to develop, sustain, and manage implementation of CRDF Global’s growing counterterrorism, counternarcotics and law enforcement capacity building portfolio. Will use broad, extensive, and strategic knowledge of USG counterterrorism, counternarcotics and law enforcement efforts, priorities, and contracting mechanisms; will also use USG contracting experience forming and leading globally diverse capacity-building teams to solve complex issues, and will exercise a high level of judgment regarding departmental and organizational policies, procedures and global best practices and routinely will make decisions that have organizational impact, and finally, will lead and set direction, and define operating principles and practices for the Security Assistance Division / Training and Advisory Services. The director will collaborate with CRDF Global’s senior leadership, operational teams, and the regional hub offices to set performance goals and long-term operational plans that will help grow the portfolio; and will lead, manage and grow the portfolio of counterterrorism and law enforcement projects with US foreign assistance funders including, but not limited to US Department of State / US Department of Justice / US Department of Homeland Security, and the US Department of Defense.
