Experience
Senior Lean Construction Program Manager
Apr 2022 — Present · US
Microsoft Inc, Cloud Operations + Innovations, Atlanta, Ga. Responsible for implementing the Lean Construction Transformation, globally, on Microsoft’s datacenter construction sites by creating and maintaining standard work and best practices to eliminate burden on the trade partners, and to make all construction activities more predictable, which allows Microsoft to deliver to their commitments on capacity. I facilitate problem solving activity (Kaizen), and drive the Lean Culture across the organization. Improvement activity include improvements on safety, ergonomics, 5S, schedule, quality, and budget. I write and create standard work for all processes in the Lean Construction department. I created, based on team input, and distributed a GC bi-monthly newsletter that is distributed globally. I created a process called “LPDS” (Lean Production Delivery System) which is a 12, 6, and 3 week look ahead which allows the GC and DCD Project Manager to collaborate on solving constraints that may prohibit any activities from starting on time. This process is now being rolled out globally,(starting with our America Regions). I have created standard work for 5 activities on the construction site. I facilitated a cross departmental meeting with DCE (Data Center Engineering) to identify constraints that need to be resolved and updated in the new datacenter design. Extensive knowledge of datacenters and their components. Collaborate with manufacturers on issues identified during construction.
