ABOUT JOHN BUSH

With 20 years’ experience at the US Department of State (DOS) leading security programs for US Embassies, John Bush is a leader in global safety & security operations. He is a recognized SME in counterintelligence, counterterrorism, physical security, emergency planning, protecting diplomats, criminal investigations, and partnering with host nations on diverse issues.In France, he developed strategic security plans and coordinating the safety and security of Team USA, US Olympic Sponsors, and US citizens / diplomats at the 2024 Paris Olympic & Paralympic Games. Throughout his career, as RSO (Regional Security Officer) for US Embassies and Consulates, he has created and managed $6M-annual budgets, reduced risks, and protected assets—by leading physical security, investigations, facility & staff risk, vulnerability assessments, emergency response, personal protection, business continuity, and travel security.John is particularly skilled at operating in high-threat countries, including orchestrating DOS security operations in Iraq and Pakistan. In Baghdad, he co-developed and implemented US Embassy security programs from scratch.
