John Busch currently serves the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as the Protective Security Advisor (PSA) for the State of Wisconsin. Prior to this appointment, he served for 4 years as the PSA for Northern Illinois and the City of Chicago. Mr. Busch is dedicated to supporting the nation’s efforts to ensure a safe and resilient America. In this roll, Mr. Busch provides Infrastructure Protection reach-back capacity for both the private sector and state and local partners. He also aids and assists in the protection and enhancement of existing critical infrastructure within the region. Mr. Busch also contributes to the development of the national risk picture by assisting with the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risk to critical infrastructure at the regional, state, and local level.
