As a Sr Product Designer, I have over 34 years of solid design experience in the engineering industry, specializing in creating innovative and efficient products that meet customer needs and enhance their lives. I have a B.S. in Engineering Technology from Western Illinois University and a PTC Product Lifecycle credential.I am a CAD Integrator, responsible for evaluating and distributing tasks to our global designers, managing GD & T and 1D stack-ups, and scoping new projects for costing purposes. I also have expertise in plastic design and design for manufacture (DFM) with toolers and molders, using advanced tools such as PTC Creo, Windchill PLM/PDM, and OPEX Green Belt. I have contributed to multiple patents, prototypes, and large assembly projects, and I enjoy collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, mentoring younger or less experienced designers, and participating in scrum teams to implement Model-Based Design (MBD) in the organization.
