I currently work as a Senior Analyst with Live Oak Bank\'s Sponsor Finance team. Prior to this role, I took a six month sabbatical (bumming around in the wilderness). Previously, I worked at Live Oak as an Underwriting and Servicing Team Lead in the Energy & Infrastructure Department, Credit Administration as a Credit Officer, and in the Closing Department as a Loan Closing Specialist and Closing Team Manager. I started with the Bank in mid-2014 after graduating from East Carolina with a Master of Business Administration and have had the great opportunity to learn the commercial lending business in an awesome work environment.Prior to graduate school, I served as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps (20••••11). I had the opportunity to deploy with First Battalion, Sixth Marines (2d Marine Division) as a Rifle Platoon Commander in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2010 and participate in the initial assault on Marjeh (a Taliban strong-point in the Helmand Province). Following the deployment, I had the tremendous honor of serving as a Company Commander for Weapons Company, 1/6.
