ABOUT JOHN BOYLE

John is a Chartered Engineer and holds the position of Technical Director within the RPS Highways, Civil and Transportation Sector. He has over 21 years experience working on a wide range of highway design and civil engineering projects. As part of John\'s role, he is responsible for the project management of a range of highway design and civil engineering projects through all stages of project delivery from feasibility through to completion and handover. As a result of John\'s role within the RPS Highways, Civils and Transportation team, he has gained significant experience in major highway design schemes associated with trunk roads and motorways, master plan infrastructure design including road layout and drainage design. John is also responsible for managing the preparation of contract documents, bills of quantities, cost estimates and site supervision and is an NEC3 and NEC4 accreditated project manager, performing this role on a number of new highway and improvement schemes. John has excellent experience of working on landmark projects, development master plans and regionally significant projects such as the Titanic Quarter including Titanic Belfast, A1 Junctions Phase 2 - a major strategic road improvement scheme with compact grade separated junctions on the A1 trunk road between Belfast and Dublin and in the past DBFO2 which was the previous phase of this scheme.
