Whether through leadership development training or exposing employees to site-specific leadership, programs, and capabilities, my goal is to exceed expectations with engaging content, dynamic presentation, and the vast opportunities it unveils.My Current RolesAs a Career Development Partner my primary responsibilities are the development of SNC\'s frontline leaders, improved team collaboration, and effective communication. As the Lead of the BOLD Program, SNC\'s technical and leadership development program for early-career high-potential engineers, I oversee all aspects of this prioritized program. My Previous ExperienceI first experienced the adrenalin rush of training as a 14-year-old coaching water polo alongside my older sister. The pure joy and satisfaction I felt from providing young athletes with the tools to improve and succeed led me to pursue a degree in Science Education, and eventually become a high school science teacher and coach at my old high school. For four years as a young earth science teacher, I honed my craft as a curriculum designer and facilitator utilizing inquiry-based principles.Unsure of how to proceed, I was fortunate enough to have my eyes opened to the world of corporate training by a family friend. For a little more than seven years, I was a member of the Learning and Development team at Dearborn Group Life (a subsidiary of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of IL, MT, NM, OK & TX) responsible for facilitating trainings, creating curriculums, providing feedback to staff, and working with SMEs to improve processes and identify inefficiencies for our life insurance operational departments.
