Evolving the function to ensure strategic support to our business units to deliver an amazing customer experience. A key priority for me is our Operational Resilience programme and being able to continue to serve our customers when things go wrong. Its vital that you understand what critical services you need to maintain your business and recovery during times of crisis. Traditional ways (or old ways) of delivering business continuity, crisis management and security are no longer good enough, if your not operationally resilient, you simply will not survive. UK Regulators have been clear, and March 2022 is a deadline that should be on all Financial Services organisations board and leadership agenda. You need to truly understand your business model and that Operational Resilience as well as recovery should be forefront in all your planning. People, Premises, Technology and Third parties, you need to understand your entire customer journey on your important services.
