I am a trial attorney specializing in construction, government-contracts and commercial litigation. I represent owners, contractors, and design professionals before, during, and after, construction projects. I assist government contractors with various issues and claims. And I represent clients in a wide range of business disputes. I have been lead counsel in more than 50 jury and bench trials in state and federal courts throughout the country as well as in 12 arbitration proceedings - domestic and international - and 6 appeals. As a former college baseball player (pitcher), I take particular pride in helping my client define success as early as possible and then working with them to achieve their goals as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. I have been recognized as a Washington, DC. I have represented clients on a wide private and public construction projects, including, but not limited to, MLB and NFL stadiums, power plants, schools, hospitals, hotels, office buildings, mixed-use developments and other types of projects in the US and internationally.I also assist government contractors with a variety of issues and disputes in areas such as construction, IT, and trade.Finally, I am involved, and act as local counsel, in a wide variety of commercial cases involving, among other things, trade secrets, non-compete agreements, and labor and employment classifications.
