John Autrey is co-founder of RANKIN McKENZIE LLC, North Carolina’s largest and most trusted financial management firm. As a hands-on financial executive with over 28 years of CFO and Controller experience. John specializes in providing seasoned financial management leadership to small technology development, service, and distribution companies with a special focus in medical device companies.John has extensive experience in building administrative and financial infrastructure, managing accounting functions, developing financial plans, cash management, mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, raising capital, and human resource oversight. He also has a strong background in assisting early stage companies by building a cost-effective financial and administrative infrastructure and growing relationships with their investors. Currently, John currently serves as the part-time CFO for PharmatrophiX, an early stage drug discovery company, and Paidion Research, a pediatric CRO. He has served as the CFO for two medical device companies TEM Systems, Inc. and Oncoscope Inc. He also worked as CFO for Quill Medical (medical device), BioAgilytix Labs (CRO), HexaTech (semiconductor) and INI Power Systems (fuel cell), all clients of his firm Rankin McKenzie, LLC.
