ABOUT JOHN AUGERI

Dr. John Augeri is a 20+ years experienced Forward Thinking Educational Leader, internationally active and recognized on the Teaching & Learning Strategic and Operational Dimensions of the Digital Transformation in Higher Education institutions.John is especially involved as a thought provoking Leader in the field of Learning Spaces, through Talks and Keynotes (80+ given in four continents in major conferences, Higher Education Institutions and Boards, and Government Entities), Research, and Publication related to the Stakes weighing the Future of Educational Facilities and the recomposition of Learning Territories, from a physical and a Hybrid/HyFlex standpoints.He is also involved in the transformation of the Teaching practices through a mainstream region-wide Staff/Faculty Development initiative he is managing since 2009, which scores 1100+ registrations and schedules 100+ sessions every year, and got an international visibility. John is internationally active as Academic Paper Reviewer, Conference Proposal Reviewer, Core Member & Advisor for several Workgroups, and Award Juror. He is co-leader of the EDUCAUSE French Delegation and Editor in Chief of its annual report. He served six times in the EDUCAUSE Horizon Report | Teaching and Learning Edition Expert Panel, two times in EDUCAUSE Conferences Program Committees, was a member of the 2025 EDUCAUSE Top-10 Issues, and is a member of the EDUCAUSE Review Advisory Board.John is currently the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning of Ile-de-France Digital University, is appointed as an expert for the European Commission\'s European Digital Education Hub as Leader of its \'Future Classrooms\' Squad, and is Joint Researcher at Sophia University in Tokyo.
