About John Anderson
My background is in software development, hardware engineering, data science and experience design. Recently, I was the project director on the award-winning Gatorade Gx platform that mixes software, IoT, data science and a sprinkle of biomedical engineering. Currently, I am overseeing a design and engineering team that’s building an IoT platform using machine learning, smart sensing, AI and computer vision. Outside of Smart Design, I am a technical advisor at NYU Stern and have spoken at conferences such as Adobe\'s 99u, Fast Company\'s Innovation Festival, Saudi Arabia Design Week and UxDA Accessibility Conference. I have a passion for developing products for accessibility and absolutely love visiting my hometown on Cape Cod.
