In this role I managed all transport and distribution operations across Ghana for this major supplier of on and off grid solar products and energy solutions across Africa. This involved overseeing all operations including inventory management, supply planning, warehousing, procurement, transport, import/export and staff management.I provided supply chain strategies aligned to corporate objectives and optimised inventory management, manufacturing, shipment, storage and reverse logistics. I implemented a new last mile lean solution to provide efficient inventory management, reducing transport costs by 40% and stocks to sale ratio by 46%.I also reduced costs of goods sold by 10% through implementing solar product kitting across Ghana.
