As a Patient Coordinator, I am a primary point of contact for our client\'s patients, educating them on the benefits of our cartilage restoration product line, MACI. I take pride in being the first voice our patients hear, introducing them to our innovative cell-based product for cartilage restoration.In addition to communicating with patients, I stay up-to-date on the latest research in cartilage restoration and provide thorough analyses to our case management team. This critical analysis helps us obtain prior authorization for patients in need of MACI.As part of my role, I create clinical training materials, research newsletters, and standard operating procedure guides. I am also involved in writing and editing appeal letters for pre- and post-surgical denials of MACI.I have had the opportunity to onboard new staff members to the company and provide them with clinical knowledge necessary to handle MACI prior authorizations. My passion for this role is driven by my expertise and dedication to patient care.
