EXECUTIVE SUMMARY An accomplished and diversified Project and Programme Management Professional offering more that 22 years experience across various industries. Johan is a transformational leader that possesses the mind-set to build strategic partnerships and focus on stakeholder’s value to ensure a win-win for all parties. He has a proven track record and has the experience to streamline challenging project and programmes to ensure the successful business outcomes in large organisations. He has vast experience within the Financial Services sector and has successfully delivered high profile regulatory projects and programmes such as AML/KYC, and FATCA reporting. One of Johan’s more recent successes was the implementation of the bi-lateral FATCA legislative solution between the NZ Government and the US Government. This involved the negotiation between the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) and the United States’ IRS. His common sense approach resulted in the completion of a New Zealand (NZ) Treasury Better Business case in record time that was approved by the Minister of Finance and the NZ Cabinet. Another success was the responsibility of delivering a $55 million programme across 24 business units with a project staff compliment of 538 people over a period of 18 months. Johan’s ability to create lasting and trusting relationships at all levels including executive leadership, project teams, stakeholders and clients alike, gives him the ability to develop and maintain delivery focused teams in highly stressed environments, while managing the balance between expectations and delivery.
