About Johannes Storaker
Manager Financial Planning & Analysis at NOV Inc- a Fortune 500 company. Our reporting and analyses help drive upper management business decisions and company strategies, with high focus on Data Integrity, Digital Intelligence and Automation. In this role, I oversee the Profit and Loss (Income Statement) reporting out of the Norway ledger, as well as providing several global reports to our HQ in Houston. In addition, my team is performing Financial Inventory Management and Cost Accounting. Related tasks are including, but not limited to, analysis, budgeting and forecasting of Financial Statements (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and Income Statement), Cost Accounting (Inventory Management and Manufacturing Costing), SOX Compliance Audits (US and NOR GAAP) and advanced reporting through Data Analytics Tools such as Power BI, MS Excel & Query, and Alteryx. I am personally responsible for reporting NOV Inc. bookings and backlog for the Rig Technologies segment, used in the earnings release for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Prior to taking on this role, I was part of the Oracle EBS implementation core team. We successfully implemented the ERP-system in May 2016. My main assignment being the overall responsibility for project data conversion and SCRUM Product Owner for our global PM IT tool, assigning user stories and tasks to a team of four internal systems developers, in cooperation with a BA. Using my analytical skills and creative thinking, in a combination with a results-driven attitude, I believe I can improve performance and end results, whether it being working on an assignment alone or in collaboration with others. I have a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Economics, Business Administration and Project Management at School of Business and Law, University of Agder including an exchange abroad to Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia.
