Lead for plant music events and activations at Data Garden, makers of PlantWave, an organization that designs data sonification systems, creating real-time generative music experiences for wearables, sensors and headsets.Using Data Garden’s data sonification product, PlantWave, we design and produce plant music experiences for festivals, conferences, hotels, residences and private events. Our clients and partners include TED, SXSW, Aspen Ideas Festival, Habitas, WS Development, Goop and Meta just to name a few. Plant music is a way of monitoring electrical signals of plants as sound. Through patented sonification technology, PlantWave measures biological changes within plants, graphs them as a wave and translates the wave into pitch. With PlantWave, every single note you hear is a real-time expression of a shift in a plant. PlantWave listeners report feeling more relaxed, connected and inspired when listening to plants. Our plant music immersive experiences help people tune into nature and experience the power of presence through a real-time stream of generative ambient music.
