About Johanna Wynne
I\'ve spent a lifetime in service. First as a military kid, then through 20 years in uniform as an Army intelligence officer and strategist. Moving across states, countries, and cultures taught me to lead through uncertainty, adapt fast, and build real connections wherever I landed.Today, I bring that experience to advocacy, systems design, and creative work focused on improving how people live. I care deeply about designing with empathy, rethinking outdated systems, and helping create more dignified experiences for the people those systems are supposed to serve.My advocacy includes serving as president and founding board member of the Drew Wynne Foundation, where we helped advance federal legislation banning a deadly chemical and continue to support mission-driven entrepreneurs. I serve on the board of HealthCode and have supported organizations like Families for Safe Streets in ways that shape strategy, strengthen connection, and move purpose-driven work forward. The military and veteran community is in my DNA. I value and nurture the relationships I\'ve built in that space, and love to give time to help veteran organizations design systems, build volunteer networks, and launch programs that expand real opportunities for veterans and their families.Happily out of my depth, I\'m taking a curious step into the film world as an associate producer on \"Spaghetti Western\", a female-driven independent film backed by women angel investors. Learning a little more about this industry has been as fascinating as it has been fun.I\'m serious about my work and passions, but not about myself. A positive outlook, a goofy sense of humor, and good laughter go a long way. I like trying my hand at just about anything that gets me moving, creating, or reflecting.
