IT professional, Hearst award-winning journalist, author of 3 women’s fiction novels, 2 young adult novels, & 1 vampire novella. Two of my books went on to become international bestsellers and my second book was optioned by Fox for a motion picture deal that was renewed multiple times but never put into production. My journalism work mostly focuses on feature writing and long-form narrative nonfiction. I was the first person from my University to win a Hearst Award. My work has appeared in a variety of publications, including USA Today, The Boston Globe, FHM, and a handful of magazines from Heart. sold TV adaptation to Fremantle in Los Angelas, DreamWorks SKG.

Wrote and sold three books at auction to major NYC publisher. My first novel, “The Next Big Thing,” was released in March 2005. It debuted on the bestseller list a list, where it remained for three months. I followed up my debut with two additional bestselling novels, “Your Big Break,” which was optioned by FreeMantle Media for a television series, and “How to Be Cool.” Foreign rights for all three books have been sold to publishers in Spain, Russia, The Netherlands, France, and Brazil.
