ABOUT JOHANNA SAILEMA
I am majoring in biological sciences at Rutgers University with 3 years of laboratory experience. Currently, I work in higher education, where I primarily focus on helping students through the admissions process. Additionally, I also educate students about the innovative programs at college. My passion lies in completing a task from start to end in a simple yet effective matter. I have experience in working with teams across the campus. I am highly organized, and experienced in teamwork, project management, and strategic planning. I am also bilingual in Spanish both written and verbal. Moreover, I apply my leadership background to help those in need through volunteer organizations. I serve in many committees like the Latino collation and the Bonnie Duncan Scholarship Committee. Outside of work, I love to travel and aim to visit all 50 states. I love to explore, hike, swim and play sports. Moreover, I am constantly seeking opportunities to become the best version of myself. I leave 2 hours in my day for personal growth. Lastly, I am very interested in different diseases and one of them is Diabetes. I am currently researching and learning about Diabetes on my own. I actively read new articles and educate myself on new research methods
