ABOUT JOHANNA COLPRITT

I am a Corporate Associate at Sullivan & Worcester in Boston, MA. Prior to joining Sullivan & Worcester, I was a Corporate Associate at Eaton Peabody in Portland, ME. I graduated from the University of Maine School of Law, where I earned the Corporate/Business Law Award, an award presented to one student in the graduating class who displayed academic excellence and achievement in the select area of law. I represent both public and private clients in a range of corporate matters and financing transactions, including business formation and structuring, mergers and acquisitions, angel/venture capital financings and securities offerings. I also represent public companies in securities law compliance, general disclosure and periodic reporting and governance matters. I provide an important and unique set of skills for clients. Prior to law school, I graduated from Bentley University, from which I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, accompanied by a Liberal Studies Major in Ethics and Social Responsibility and a Minor in Law. My business education in combination with my legal experience allows me to offer multiple perspectives according to the applicable circumstances. Involvement in my communities is critically important to me. While working in Maine I served as Secretary on Maine’s New Lawyers Section (NLS); as well as served on the board of MaineShare, a nonprofit focused on providing support to and raising awareness on behalf of over 40 nonprofits in Maine. While at Maine Law I served as the Student Liaison to Maine’s NLS, served as Co-Chair of the Maine Association of Public Interest Law, served as Secretary of the Maine Juvenile Law Society, and participated on both Maine Law’s soccer and softball teams. While at Bentley, I was a member of the Student Alumni Leadership Council, Academic Integrity Society, Women\'s Varsity Soccer Team, Service Learning, and Judicial Board.
