ABOUT JOHANAN TORRES

Hi! Im a professional with over 15 years of experience in the field of engineering, highly analytical and with solid technical knowledge and capabilities in the field of engineering, plant management, project management and construction management. My comprehensive background entails design, planning, manufacturing, procurement, forecasting and team leadership. These skills have allowed me to experience different roles within industry in international companies starting as a engineering intern while being still in college at Goodyear up to an Engineering Manager Lead for Mexico at Cargill with different roles within the same company. Additionally, these roles have given me the opportunity to live and get to know the cultures of two great countries such as the US and Mexico which I find quite exiting not only for a career development but for a personal development!Finally, would like to mention the field of electrical engineering is one of those great majors that keep constantly advancing and evolving going in hand with robotics and Artificial Intelligence. As an EE and a professional, I’m a constant seeker, constant learner and advocator of technology and it is for this reason I keep up with my programming skills, trainings and certifications related to automation and robotics to be up-to-date and keep up with industry 4.0 which is something I enjoy!
