ABOUT JOHAN GUDMUNDSSON
Ever since I can remember, I have been drawn to using mathematics and computers to solve problems. Since I grew up in South Sweden, going to study mathematical physics at Lund university was the obvious choice for me.My education taught me how to describe the real world using mathematical modeling and computational programming. As it turns out, it also laid the perfect foundation to understand and develop cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.As my education finished, I started on a journey from Data Scientist AI Developer Research Scientist Head of AI Solutions CTO of Desupervised. It has been a long road with a lot of long hours, but it has also been incredibly rewarding and educational.Now as the CTO of Desupervised, I focus on bringing robust, scalable, and uncertainty aware Artificial Intelligence into reality across multiple verticals, including Drug Discovery Business Intelligence Computer visionAI is only just beginning to show its true potential, as computing power increases and more data becomes available, AI will continue to improve. Eventually, it will be integrated into every aspect of our lives without us even noticing. Therefore, it is crucial that the AI actually has common sense, is robust, and is able to understand risk. It is this challenge that keeps me motivated to go to work every day.
