For the last 17 years, I have served in various creative roles for The Gorilla Glue Company. First as a Graphic Designer and today as their Global Design Director. During my time, I have watched Gorilla grow from a small, family-owned business to the international business it is today. I have a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry. My portfolio demonstrates a proven track record of leading and inspiring design, from start to finish. I have developed creative across packaging, print, TV, digital and other platforms to delight consumers and support the goals of The Gorilla Glue Co. I know first-hand the passion and keen eye for detail required to support a company’s creative needs as it continues its journey to make products that deliver impressive results. Key highlights of my career include: · Managing a growing department. The design department started with one employee (me) and today has seven employees. · Pitched and led creation of the Gorilla suit, which is now the centerpiece of our brand campaigns and brings the brand to life for customers.· Created new architecture to streamline design and ensure consistency no matter where a consumer interacts with the brand – here in the U.S, in Canada or abroad. · Managing relationships with vendors, printers and outside agencies to fulfill creative needs, all while ensuring graphic standards are followed.· Work closely with company leadership, including CEO, CMO, VPs and the original family ownership).· Present and advocate for designs that continuously push the Gorilla and O’Keeffe’s brands while following brand standards.· Work on-site on national commercial campaigns to advocate for the brand and directed photography and videography.· Conceptualized and developed through writing national commercial campaigns.· Actively involved on the company’s Diversity committee, which I chaired for four years.
