About Joey Shirely

In college, I chose the international business major because I was interested in business and wanted to explore the world and its many beautiful places and cultures. I was blessed to study abroad in Costa Rica and Singapore, and intern at a global non-profit organization.Starting a career in HR felt somewhat random, but I discovered I am passionate about recruiting. Years later, God connected all the dots and placed me into Compassion International\'s Manager of Global Talent Acquisition position.Not only do I get to continue my exploration of new places and cultures, but I get to build relationships with fantastic team members in 29 countries across Africa, Asia and Latin America and help them fill their teams with great talent.
