   Collaborated with a solution architect to design and implement a highly critical and highly available integration platform with guaranteed message delivery to 20+ agencies for the King County Jail System using the Azure Integration services suite - API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps. Built a set of shared service REST APIs and reusable business process templates using best practice cloud and enterprise integration design patterns to support multi step message itineraries and flexible message processing for the Jail System. Developed standardized approaches within Software Engineering for CI/CD pipelines for deploying infrastructure of several mission critical services, including Azure API Management, APIs, API permissions, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps. Identified the need for automating OAuth API permissions for all APIs across all environments King County wide, and built a custom Azure DevOps CI/CD extension for easy API permission configuration and deployment. Documented Software Engineering guidance and best practices for APIs, including API standards, API DevOps, OpenAPI (Swagger), and API security (OAuth). Enhanced the security mechanisms and maintenance of the Jail System integration by converting components to Managed Identity for authentication to cloud services and internal Jail System APIs without having to manage client secrets. Worked closely with the Jail System ProdOps support team, post go-live, to identify and implement significant improvements to the monitoring and observability of the system. Facilitated or participated in backlog grooming, functional specification, and system design sessions for the Jail System and other projects. Mentored various project teams across Software Engineering on how to setup pipelines to deploy APIs to API Management.
