The Healdsburg Prune Packers baseball club has been a part of Sonoma County baseball lore since the 1950\'s. Recently, major steps have been achieved to turn the Packers into a top Collegiate baseball destination for college players to play. The Packers dominated the California Collegiate League for 6 summers, now proud members of the Pacific Empire League. Healdsburg is one of the few California summer teams to draw fans (200-700 night). Keep it simple, nothing great happens overnight. Time & Effort I was a High School All American, Div I All American at SCU and a 8th round draft pick to the Tampa Bay Rays. In the off-seasons during my 10 year minor league career, I would help develop young players that were looking for a edge in baseball. I lived my dream, never felt like I was chasing it… Naturally I enjoyed this and have been fortunate enough to have player development become a career on the amateur side.
