Accountable for the safe, efficient and economical operation of the Central Support Shops in the areas of staffing, maintenance/machine shop operation, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety procedure. Continually focusing on the improvement of processes to insure equipment reliability and repair, for high quality, cost effective solution. Provide leadership and vision to the operation by daily oversight of all facets of the operation as well as developing quarterly, annual and long range plans for the operation. Develop, prioritize and direct programs for equipment performance. Identify root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Foster harmony and enthusiasm among the workforce by bring teams together at all levels, encouraging active participation of all involved (work groups and cross functional workgroups) Inspire trust by acting in a fair and respectful manner with all employees.
