ABOUT JOE WARRENDER
I am a Partner in our Financial Services Office, specialising in working with insurance and asset management businesses ranging from start-ups to FTSE100 international groups. I enjoy working with these businesses on all sorts of challenges facing them - having spent over 14 years leading everything from IFRS 17 implementations and consulting on control frameworks, through to due diligence, reporting accountant and other transaction services for Class 1 transactions and smaller debt issuances.However, my core specialism is in assurance and external audit, as a Responsible Individual I look after numerous statutory and non-statutory audits across the London market (syndicates, MGAs and brokers) and both the life insurance and asset management industries. I am proud to deliver high quality audits, for the benefit of Audit Committees and shareholders, but also to improve reporting and control processes within businesses. Finally, I have a passion for everything to do with data - data analytics, automation, AI, machine learning. I lead EYUK\'s Insurance Digital Audit team, bringing all aspects of digital innovation to deliver a better, higher quality audit, and I am UK & I Audit AI Leader looking at how we leverage GenAI and AgenticAI to superpower our audit delivery.
