ABOUT JOE TAGLIAFERRO

Joe Tagliaferro brings a wealth of legal, business, investment and finance expertise to all business endeavors derived from over 25 years of collective experience as an entrepreneur, small business owner, lawyer, advisor and investor. Joe is also an active corporate and securities attorney with a diverse client base and over 20 years of experience originating, managing and representing clients in a wide variety of domestic and international corporate, finance, securities and regulatory matters with a focus on private equity, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, investment fund formation and compliance, broker-dealer / investment adviser formation and compliance and a wide variety of domestic and international transactional matter. Prior to joining Withers Bergman LLP, Joe was a partner at a New York-based firm and a partner and co-chair of the corporate and securities practice at an global law firm. Before that, he was a founding partner of a boutique law firm focused on corporate capital formation and financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, SEC compliance and cross-border transactions. Prior to starting his own law firm, Joe served as vice president of business and legal affairs at a Los Angeles-based venture capital incubator firm, a spot Forex trader, and a FINRA registered representative at a large institutional investment firm. As an entrepreneur as well as an accomplished attorney, Joe also co-founded a fashion design and consulting firm that owned and operated a chain of retail clothing boutiques in Santa Monica, California. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Villanova University, and his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University.
