Primarily serves as the AG Logistics SME and overall operational process owner for all in-plant logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, stock room, dispatch, raw materials (Steel Stores), local transportation, and inbound RUR operations. Collaborate directly with Site/Plant Logistics Managers/Leads to ensure AG is using best-in-class process across operations within Moog to drive consistency and predictability within Logistics. The primary relationship and process owner of logistics vendors and be directly accountable for the performance of these operations. Accountable to ensure Moog will possess the right experience and skill in our site operations by collaborating with Site Leadership through the recruitment process. Ensure operational capacity exists for plants and contracted operations and logistics partners to meet the demands of the business and to meet future business plans. Directly determines the processes that are employed in logistics operations (Moog plants or contracted operations) and drive continuous improvement in implementing best-in-class practice logistics processes. Team with the Aircraft Group site logistics managers/leads and site operations leaders (A&T, Materials Management and Shop) to understand changing site operations and needs and develop plans with local logistics managers/lead to ensure plans are developed and executed to support the direction of the 5 year business plans.
