I joined The Starr Group in after spending close to 25 years as an employee for a large insurance company. Seeking an opportunity that would keep me closer to home and reward me for my efforts, an independent insurance agency seemed like a perfect fit. And the Starr Group was an exceptional fit for me because of their commitment to making life safer for their clients.I am a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) and a Chartered Life Underwriter(CLU). I understand the fine print of insurance policies and am able to offer risk solutions to protect my clients. Over the years I found that I tend to build insurance programs for my clients as if I were providing coverages for my own family and friends.I am able to help my clients navigate through all aspects of the Affordable Care Act. Specifically, I can provide guidance in choosing the proper coverages (health, ancillary, worksite, and wellness) and implementing employee communication programs. Understanding the challenges that HR Professionals face within their organizations sets my approach apart. Limited time and resources can cause restraints on properly executing Employee Benefit initiatives.
