ABOUT JOE RYAN

I advise PE-backed companies and management teams on M&A strategy and execution, with a particular focus on rollup platforms in fragmented markets.Currently, I work with several private equity firms and their portfolio companies on acquisition strategy, deal sourcing, and integration. I also serve on the board of Talking Heads Wireless.My background is in building and leading corporate development functions. At American Tower, I was the first M&A hire and built the acquisition capability from the ground up—ultimately closing over $5+ billion in transactions and acquiring more than assets. That experience included everything from sourcing and negotiating with independent operators to designing integration processes and managing cross-functional deal teams.Since then, I\'ve held operating and advisory roles across wireless infrastructure, defense technology, and business services, always focused on the same challenge: how to successfully consolidate fragmented markets through disciplined M&A.I\'m currently exploring Head of Corporate Development or senior M&A roles at PE-backed platforms executing active acquisition strategies.
