The RR2025 gGmbH was founded by the German University Sport Federation(adh) for the preparation and organization of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games and their follow-up, in the region Rhine-Ruhr within North-Rhine-Westphalia. These games are the 2nd biggest elite multi sport event after the Olympics and will be the biggest one world wide in 2025. The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games are an event, including 18 different sports in which students from about 170 countries around the world will take part. The participants in the competitions are students who are usually enrolled in HEI in their respective home countries.
