As a board member of the Children’s Development Academy (CDA), I support the organization’s mission by overseeing the executive director, ensuring sound financial management, and helping lead fundraising efforts that sustain and grow our impact.For over 50 years, the CDA has provided high-quality early learning to children from low-income, working families in our community. We serve up to 156 children daily, ages 12 months to 5 years, through a full-day program that includes three Georgia Pre-K classrooms.Our program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)—the gold standard in early education—and is rated three stars by Georgia’s Quality Rated system.
