Much of my experience in this area relates to founding and developing an advisory council on these issues at my place of work. The group (called the Dean\'s Council for Equity and Inclusion) creates training, proposes policies, and advocates within the organization for changes that will make it a better place to work - and make our library a better place for our users to study, research, and learn together.I have experience consulting for third party firms on library systems and the library and information market.
