Hi! My name is Joe. I became interested in the food and hospitality industry a few years ago when my grandfather passed. I knew that food can heal and ultimately prevent Type II Diabetes. It was traumatizing seeing him in his last moments at my house. It was until shortly after that I started looking more into what food does to our body. I have developed a wide variety of skills in my career. As a soldier in the US Army, I performed duties as a crew member and supervised operator maintenance of tracked and wheeled scout vehicles and individual / crew-served weapons. As an experienced Sous Chef, I have developed many skills in food preparation, compliance, restaurant management, hospitality management, inventory management, customer service, quality assurance, budgeting, and business strategy.
