About Joe Meuleman

Joe Meuleman is an attorney with Meuleman Law Group PLLC, practicing primarily in the areas of construction law, government contracts, and litigation. He represents general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, sureties, and project owners in a variety of construction-related disputes and transactions. Joe has over ten years of experience working within the construction industry including field construction and supervision, project management, and cost controls. This real-world experience provides a unique advantage in all areas of construction law from contract negotiations to dispute resolution. Joe is an advocate for the construction industry both locally and nationally. He stays current with new developments in construction and construction law through active participation in trade organization and bar committees. Joe serves on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Associated General Contractors and is Chair of the Idaho AGC Associate/Supplier Advisory Board. He also serves on the Idaho AGC Legislative Committee and held various leadership positions in the Idaho AGC Construction Leadership Council between 2004 and 2013. Joe is an active member of the Associated General Contractors of America. He is currently a member of the national Contract Document Forum Steering Committee. He also served a three-year term on the national Construction Leadership Council Steering Committee and has represented the AGC of America on several ConsensusDOCS Working Groups drafting industry standard contract documents. Joe also supports the education of future construction professionals as a member of the Advisory Board to the Department of Construction Management at Boise State University. Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine named Joe as a 2014 Mountain States 20 Under 40 award recipient. He was recognized by the Idaho Business Review with the Accomplished Under Forty award in 2013.
