Layout Artist & Designer @The New Quarterly

My role for this Canadian literary magazine is to create the layout and design of each issue. As a text-heavy publication, most of the work is typesetting but the issues do occasionally include artwork such as illustrations or photographs interspersed throughout the pages. It’s my duty to include these items when necessary and still fit the multiple pieces of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry within the constraints of the magazine. I also coordinate the cover artwork for each issue with a different artists.
