I use my experience to identify inefficient workflows and improve processes and systems with technology to boost efficiency.Here are a just few examples of my work:• FP & A: Developed forecast models to support Boats Group\'s budget process, including compensation, taxes, benefits, cash flow, and consolidated EBITDA in local currency and USD.• ASC805: Collaborated with valuation experts and third-party accounting consulting firms to complete opening balance sheets in accordance with US GAAP under ASC805 for three business acquisitions in 2021. Collaborated with acquired entity local management teams on accounting and systems integration activities while causing minimal disruption of ongoing business operations.• FP & A: Built Gross Margin Analysis, to better understand the profitability and contribution of various products and lines of business to Boats Group’s business overall. Analysis was performed by product line x region. I solicited input from internal business leaders over multiple iterations to ensure we had the most reliable information.• Accounting Process Improvement: Decreased our Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) from 13 to 7 days during the COVID-19 pandemic by overhauling our customer invoices and billing process and launching a customer auto-pay enrollment campaign. These initiatives led to over customer enrollments in auto-pay, an additional $805K in monthly collections, a 55% decrease in manual check processing, and an increase in bad debt recovery from 11% to 53%.I also created I Will Teach You Excel, a website that provides free Excel content through blog posts, videos, and e-books. Self-published Excel e-book on Amazon Kindle and Barnes & Noble Nook, with over 1.3M downloads, 6,500 Amazon reviews, and email subscribers.Additionally, I am a big MLB fan (Go Yankees!), I love reading Sci-Fi Novels, playing board games with my wife and our three beautiful girls, and traveling with my family to new places.
