Joel Oliva is a resilient second-generation Mexican American with strong ties to both U.S. and Mexican Culture who was raised in divorced homes with challenging economic circumstances as a young farm boy in Idaho. Now a seasoned cybersecurity professional and Carnegie Mellon University alumnus who enjoys music, disc golfing and breaking things, Joel has a mature understanding that ADHD (aka neurodivergence) is his superpower. Joel\'s natural ability to turn chaos into order, with an eagerness to explain technical concepts in a simple manner, is boosted by a sincere enjoyment of cybersecurity and the benefits technology brings to everyday life.
