Joel is currently pursuing his new passion by joining Bluestem API Inc, becoming a global leader in addressing psychiatric illness through policy reform, research, and development of natural remedies, particularly botanical psilocybin that is safe, traceable, consistent and effective. Previously, he co-founded Tranquility Online, an online platform that uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help people with anxiety and depression in 2017 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The platform uses digital coaching to improve client adherence and create better mental health outcomes. Muise’s own experience with anxiety led him to create Tranquility – with the objective of reducing wait times and improving access to care for all Canadians. Now owned by Green Shield Holdings Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GreenShield, Tranquility is available, free of charge, to Nova Scotians (16+) with mild-to-moderate anxiety & depression, as well as millions of other Canadians.
