About Joel Meinen
With 20 years of experience in construction staffing, I’ve built my career from the ground up—literally. I started as an Account Executive in the Milwaukee, WI market, earning the Circle of Excellence Award in 2008, and quickly grew into leadership roles where I discovered my passion for developing teams, rebuilding markets, and driving large-scale growth.As General Manager of the Milwaukee market, I helped lead the turnaround following the Great Recession. By assembling and mentoring a high-performing team of sales professionals and recruiters, we propelled Milwaukee into a Top 5 U.S. market from 2014 through 2017.In 2017, I relocated to Charlotte, NC to take on an Area Manager role overseeing growth across Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. During this time, I helped lead the acquisition of a competitor, navigating complex change management while keeping teams aligned and performing. I also guided our region through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, rebuilding once again and achieving our strongest year ever in 2022 with more than $30 million in revenue.Across my career, I’ve built and managed high-impact teams, scaled multi-state markets, and driven financial performance with full responsibility for budgeting and P&L. I bring over 15 years of sales and recruitment leadership experience and have managed more than $250 million in total revenue within the construction staffing industry.I’m passionate about operational excellence, talent development, and helping organizations grow through strong partnerships and exceptional people.
