iCoTech support its clients to rapidly mature Project Portfolio Management Systems, Working to introduce industry standard PPM Tools and maturing Policies, Procedures and Processes to evidence the performance of delivery. Example A; Our client wasn\'t able to see how the Portfolio of Projects was actively supporting the delivery of the Strategic Plan. The board couldn\'t see what Projects required their attention, So we set about defining the Portfolio and deploying a Microsoft Project Online environment which used Power BI to visualise the link between the Projects and the Strategic Plan. A mechanism for prioritisation was defined as part of this project and now the executive team have visibility of all the Projects across the Portfolio and can clearly see the focus areas that need decisions to be made. Example B; Our had a major change programme that covered technology and organisational change. The level of reporting requirement was significant due to the organisational model and widespread changes. When we arrived there were a significant number of Projects being delivered but no automation. Each Project had a document library with Spreadsheets and standalone Microsoft Project Plans. So we recommended that a Portfolio Management Tool would be beneficial as they’d have real time reporting which could be customised for the different audience. So we delivered the tool at the same time defining the mechanisms e.g for managing risks and issues, and therefore rapidly matured the Project Delivery function. Now the all areas of the business have visibility, with standard PMO processes well defined and automated in areas. The result was that the Project Management team were 23% more efficient, thus able to deliver more change.
