ABOUT JOEL LYTLE

Experienced information security leader with over 30 years of technology experience, 21 years focused on information security. For the past 16 years I have led the information security team at Jackson Walker LLP where my responsibilities include the implementation and oversight of a NIST CSF-based information security program and securing the data of the firm, and our clients. I currently lead our SOC 2 attestation efforts and the implementation of information risk program which includes vendor risk management. Additionally, I oversee the development and delivery of security awareness programs, business continuity and disaster recovery, incident response, audit support and remediation as well as \"other duties as assigned\".In 2008, I was a member of a team conducting penetration testing and security analysis as part of Operation Unumbeza - an initiative aimed at curbing fraud and corruption by government officials within the provincial government departments. Prior to that I worked for Perot Systems where I was the Information Security Manager for the Federal Student Aid - Virtual Data Center project.
