As Senior IT Project Manager I am currently working with Microsoft and the Babcock IT CIO and IT teams to further support the directive from Babcock’s CEO to move towards an agile and flexible working environment. Including- Implementation of a true hybrid Exchange Online configuration catering for those allowed to move to cloud and those who must, based on data sensitivity, remain on-premise. Catering to mailboxes and end user migrations. Including the complete set up of Purview to support sensitivity labels, data transaction rules and data loss prevention policies- Switch from BlackBerry mobile device management to Intune, covering both Corporate Owned Business Only (COBO) and Corporate Owned Personally Enabled (COPE) models- Introduction of access to SharePoint Online, OneDrive and a Babcock approved suite of 365 applications/features to end users allowed in cloud. Allowing usage across varying data sensitivities in line with MoD data classifications, secure by design model and compliance criteria- Introduction of hybrid on-premise/online Exchange to allow free/busy information to show across restricted and commercial users calendars and enabling the Teams and Channel Calendar apps with minimal impact to the end users- Updating the Babcock tenancy to support multi-geo configuration to allow for international and local data compliancy between Australia, Canada & the UK- Converting all licensed users and devices from Skype for Business to Teams - Enterprise Voice across locations globally.
