I got my start in public affairs and strategic communications in Washington, D.C, first on Capitol Hill and then in the Community and Public Outreach office in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon.I am currently in employee communications as Manager of Content Strategy and Channels for Northrop Grumman, a Fortune 100 tech and aerospace leader. Prior to that, I was the company\'s first ever Managing Editor; in that role, I oversaw our award-winning, employee-focused company magazine that reaches an audience of more than 90K, as well as our external, long-form branded storytelling channels.As a freelance writer, I have covered health and culture.
